To achieve
better oral health amongst the various age groups in the local
community, Dr Atkins and his team of dentists have visited and
spoken to a range of local community groups about age related
dental treatment and oral health. These include:

Girl Guides plus the Under 15’s Rugby Team—this also included
supplying the team with free gum shields in conjunction with the
local dental lab

made special gum shields for the whole team and delivered a
talk on prevention of dental trauma |

Dr Atkins and Paralympic Cyclist and Athens Gold Medallist
Aileen McGlynn.
Dr Atkins was the official dentist throughout the Paralympic
World Cup Games held in Manchester.
